Talbot Named Louisiana Regional Sales Manager for TPS

Clinton, MS (April. 15, 2021)

Taylor Power Systems is pleased to welcome Tim Talbot to the team as the Regional Sales Manager for the state of Louisiana.

Tim has worked in the power generation business for much of his professional career. For the last nine years, Tim was employed by Cummins Generator Technologies (CGT) selling Stamford alternators to large and small GOEMs throughout the southeastern United States. Prior to his tenure with CGT, he was employed by Cummins Mid-South for seven years as a marine application engineer specializing in the integration and commissioning of marine gensets into diesel electric offshore supply vessels.

Additionally, Tim spent two years working for a large motor and generator repair business where he was responsible for quality control and failure analysis on motor/generators ranging from 5HP to 5000HP. His professional career began working for one of the largest dredging companies in the country managing their electric and electronic departments. Tim's team was responsible for maintaining and upgrading all electrical systems on the company owned vessels ranging from power generation, switchgear, PLC, VFDs, and DC drive systems.

Tim has been married to his wife Suzie for 18 years and they have two daughters, Madison (15) and Alaina (11). When he is not working, Tim spends time working on and driving his 1970 Plymouth Duster or helping friends with their cars. He also enjoys running with his oldest daughter or attending competition cheer meets with his youngest.
